Twilight snorted in the tom's direction, flipping her tail with more frustration than she had before. Her misty green eyes narrowed again considerably, and the fur on her tail began to fluff with aggravation. "If I'm a piece of fox dung, how come I'm not lowly like you?" she hissed indignantly. He was really started to get on his nerves. The other she-cat at least, was more polite.
On that note, the loner turned back towards Ember and sat down on her haunches. Though Twilight was tense - you could tell she wasn't used to friendly loners. Typically she would always get into a scrap with anyone who passed, which was why she was acting so hostile towards the tom. "Look, Ember, I used to be a Helzan cat. They're vile, loathesome creatures that like living together in large numbers. And the don't like anyone who is not of their own," Twilight explained angrily. It was true - she had been a Helzan cat once upon a time. But she had left before she became too old to leave.

Ember hearing what Twilight said stood up and let out a slight hiss. "You were once a Helzan cat?" the word Helzan was pronounced with a slight growl. Ember seemed to back away a bit remembering the scene of Helzan cats as the tore their claws through her mothers body. Ember now lost all sense of being comfortable. This cat was an ex-enemy of hers and she had no idea how to act. Ember now had thoughts. What if she was a spy? What if she was a fake, and not really a loner! Ember then turned around and sat back down. Ember knew that Helzan blood ran through her veins but she resented it completely. She would rather be a hostile loner than a viscous unjust moron. But by hearing Twlights comment she knew that her thoughts must be false. "Did, they kick you out?" Ember asked this only because Twlight did not say how she ended up here.

Seam's pelt started to rise as Ember brought up the subject of Helzan. His whole life he'd been alone without the comfort and protection of a parent which made him easy prey for the murderous, ungrateful cats he despised. He turned to Ember and hissed, "If you know what is good for you, you'll drop the subject of those filthy cats." For years and years, the cats of Helzan had beaten him, and many times he would be on the verge of death from their tooth and claws. He sighed and calmed himself down. You are not like them, no matter what has happened and what you may seem like.
As he heard Twilight's comment, his anger started to roar up inside of him as he turned to look at Twilight. "You were one of those sick killers who only care about themselves! I have no kindness towards any cat who shares their blood for that blood stands for everyone every cat has killed, especially their filthy, idiotic leader!" He knew he was losing it, and he tried calming himself down, but it didn't work well. "If that group ever finds you, you know what they'll do to you, right?" For many years he himself had been Gathering his own information secretly about Heart and the rest of them just to be able to destroy the group sooner or later. The fur along his spine started to rise as he knew that one of them, his enemy since he was a kit, was here in his reach.

The loner she-cat fluffed her fur to make herself look larger. She remained sitting as Ember's comment reached her ears, but she still felt strongly angered by this. "I wasn't kicked out," Twilight hissed fiercely. "I left them and all they stood for." She lashed her tail and glared at Ember for a long moment, feeling as if someone had just stung her. But as Seam's growls reached her hearing, Twilight shot tp her feet.
With her tail fluffed, she rounded on the tom. "You think I left because I thought it would be fun?" she growled defensively. The she-cat fixed Seam in one of her deadly glares and bared her teeth. "I never liked them. I hate them. I left because there wasn't a home for me there with them. And if you hate me too, then that's all fine. But know that I'm not one of them. I've lived on my own for many moons," she spat. Twilight unsheathed and resheathed her claws in frustration.

He chuckled in an angrily kinda way and mewed, "Like I said, share their blood, and you still are one of them, whether or not you still fight alongside them." He stared at her for a while, before finally calming down. He mewed, "You have no clue how much pain they've made me suffered. The reason I get so angry at the sound of their name is because it reminds me of everything I've been through, its not pretty." His response was suppose to be an apology, but he didn't really try to make it sound that way. Finally, he was calm...or the closest he could get to it. I am not like them, he kept repeating silently in his head. He looked up at Twilight and sighed. What was he doing? Being nice? Was that even him?

Ember rounded on Seam, her fur shot straight up in the air. She shared their blood but she was nothing like them. "How can you say that you mouse brained idiot! Don't think you're the only one who has been hurt by those cats. And how dare you judge Twilight like that! So what if she shares their blood? Is blood the only thing that makes up a cat? No it's not! And for you're information i am half Helzan!" Ember was filled with rage not noticing that she had let her secret personal information out. Ah well, she thought, it's out in the open now. Ember stared at Seam, her eyes seemed to challenge his. "And frankly i do know what's good for me, so don't treat me like I'm a kit. I will say what i want to say, your not my leader!" Ember letting her last hiss out turned away from the tom again. She hated how naive he was acting thinking he was the only one who had suffered. If anything Ember might say she suffered the most. Having to watch her mother being torn apart by those horrible cats was enough for her reason to want to kill them. And one day she will.

Twilight snorted, glaring at Seam and then at Ember. Both cats were starting to get on her nerves... a very simple task. But whether it was simple or not, they were certainly succeeding. Letting out an irritated sigh, she stubbornly sat back down on her haunches. "Nobody is a leader around here," she pointed out to both Seam and Ember, attempting to keep her voice calm. "So we don't boss each other around."
"As for you," she shot at Seam, now losing control. "It doesn't matter to me anymore whether I'm Helzan or not. Because I'm here now, away from all of them." Lashing her tail, she huffed and looked away from both of them, into the shadows.

Seam hissed at Ember, "Blood...You have no clue how much blood plays a role in things. No matter how much you wish to get rid of it, you need blood in order to live, just like you needed your parents, and their parents, to even exist! Blood is something you can never ignore, no matter what you try. Even the strongest of cats fall into the depths of what their parents were like, you share their blood and so they live within you!" He turned his head from the she-cat and added, "Even if you are only half Helzan, that blood will awaken at times."
At Twilight's mew, he mewed, "Like I said, you can't ignore the blood, even if you hate Helzan, there is no way around what lives within you. His eyes were focused on the ground and he was deep in thought. Blood...to much of that is getting spilled, what am I thinking?

"Your stupid if you think i would ever let myself become one of those cats."Ember shot back at the tom. At this moment Ember could care less about what Twilight had to say, the she-cat was no bother to her but the tom was dancing on her last nerve. How dare he judge anyone without knowing who they were or where they had come from. The only thing he could see was blood. What was so great about blood? It's a stupid thing to base a cat on. "You also know nothing of my parents, so i suggest you choose your words wisely before i rip your tongue out of your mouth, you good for nothing pile of crap." Ember's eyes now burned like fire. She unsheathed her claws ready to attack the tom if he insulted her again. "Look at me." she hissed at Seam who was now looking at the ground, "Come on i dare you to say something else about me."

Seam looked up at her, but she was threatening him. Even though he may not even like what he was saying, threatening him was not a good idea. "Threats huh? Well, like I said, blood shows whether you like it or not. Also, you may want to know what I've been through before telling me to learn about some pathetic Helzan blood's history. I care nothing about that bloodline and I never WILL!" His eyes shined with the hatred of ten cats now. He hated fighting, fighting made him no better than them, but his anger was attacking up and when that happened...

Now Ember was fed up. She flew at the tom knocking him over. "Shut up!" she hissed in his ear. "I don't care about your pathetic life! Did you have to watch your mother being teared to bits in front of your eyes! Do you know how it felt to see them ambush my father! Do you know how hard it was to run away from them! No you know nothing but blood! And yes i know how blood feels how it looks. I know too much of blood, but one thing i do know is that blood does not decide who or what you are. You yourself do that and frankly your blood is full of crap!" Ember now looked down at the tom ready to tear him to bits her eyes gleaming like small fires.

Seam was angry now. He hissed right back at her, "So what? Neither of us has lived a peaceful life, but that does not sway my opinion. Both our parents are dead, but yours was probably at a better time then mine. Four moons old, barely old enough to feed without the milk of a mother. Barely old enough to defend myself without the training of a father. Barely old enough to understand what this world has to offer without the compassion of parents, I can barely even remember my parents. For moons I went along starving, finding whatever I could and having to teach myself how to do the basics of life. Along with that, I had another obstacle facing me, those filthy Helzan! I was barely old enough to understand this city and they decided to have a little fun with me, beating me, clawing me, everything they could every time they saw more for many moons until I started to fight back. However, those beatings where not kind, many times I was on the verge of dieing and I would have just given up and died, but I wasn't like that." Why was he sharing that? And especially to a stupid Helzan, why would she ever understand the pain of everything he'd been through. Sure, she's had her trouble and he had to admit it was measurable, but still; she had known her parents.

Ember breathed heavily as she listened to Seam. She wanted to feel a bit sorry for the tom, but she couldn't find the nerve to. He had marked her, said she was dirty Helzan blood. She knew nothing of Helz or even the Helzan cats, beside the fact that her mother had left them and found a mate. Yet Ember did know how it felt. She had been running from them finally able to live out in the Plains, out of their reach. Ember did know that Seams life did seem a bit more traumatic but losing her mother, seeing them tear her limb for limb. And her father seeing them kill him as well, at the time was far to much for her. Ember now looking at Seam lost the intensity she once had in her eyes. She began to back away stumbling a bit and finally sat down. Holding her head up she then let it hang, trying to hide a tear or two. Mewing softly she said, "I know what pain feels like Seam. Your life and my life are no different. We both were hurt, but we do share a common link. Those filthy, and vile cats. I want to kill each and everyone of those Helzan cats. I want to see that group disappear for ever. I swore that i would avenge my parents deaths and that is exactly what i am going to do." Lifting her head up she then stared at the tom and mewed harshly, "But get one thing straight don't ever refer to me as a Helzan or ever insult me about my horrible roots. I know my burden and I'm tired of having to listen to cats who remind me of it."

Twilight finally decided to intercede. She rolled her eyes as she listened to them squabble at each other - arguments flaying back and forth between the two cats. It was as bad as she had been with Seam before. Only this was stepped it up by ten times. And Twilight wasn't having it. But just as she was about to jump between them, they began discussing pain and families. Letting out an irritated sigh, the she-cat sat down stubbornly. "If we're going to discuss this, perhaps I should leave and let you two alone. I'll find another place to live or something," she mewed. She was slightly annoyed - mainly because she didn't share their story.

Seam stretched, "At least you have something good the get revenge for. Revenge for your parents is better then getti9ng revenge for yourself. Some cats could call me selfish for what I want." As Twilight spoke, he shook his head and mewed, "No, no need for you to leave, I'd better get going anyway. This city is starting to get on my nerves." He remembered Ember speaking of living in the plains and mewed, "I guess I'll see you again soon, Ember." He sighed and after a flick of his tail in good-bye, he started to head off.
